 This High Pressure
Housing is ATEX EEx approved and UL and cUL approved for use in hazardous
locations.
The ATEX, UL and cUL approvals
cover flammable gases, vapors and liquids.
Both fixed cable and connector
versions can be used. When using a standard sensor in this housing you get
a cost efficient solution for use in hazardous locations which also allows
easy sensor replacement.
All parts are made of 316L
Stainless steel. The housing is also available in non-approved versions
ensuring outstanding protection to the sensor when used in rugged
applications with high humidity and aggressive gases.
The
housing is designed to specifically work with the Temposonics series SE
based Probes , and facilitates easy installation and replacement by
allowing the application housing to remain in place when removing the
sensing element.
It is
available in lengths up to 197 inches ( 5000 mm ) at present. The
electronic housing head seal is pressure tested to 29 bar , the cable gland
to 10 bar (approx 300ft of water ).The application housing is tested to
5000 psi continuous and 7600 psi peak.
The
Housing is available with either Metric or Imperial threads. For long
flexible probes we can supply a Housing without the pressure tube, this can
be added on the manufacture site at the time of assembly.
